Interplay 1 & 2, wall mounted 2D culptures
INTERPLAY is a sculptural series which fuses the simplicity of line, color and form to evoke illusions of motion and depth. Using the contemporary printmaking technique of heat and pressure fusing color onto a routed aluminum surface. the two-dimensional wall mounted sculptures allude to three dimensions through its twisting ribbons of line work and planes of circular color work. The glossy aluminum surface adds a layer of light and color interactivity with the changing light in the environments they are placed in.
Custom requested production
We produce the pieces by requested sizes for client installation and exhibition.
For single piece sizes up 48” x 96”, we produce them as dye sublimation (ink that is heat and pressure fused) onto jewel-like contour cut gloss aluminum..
Oversize single piece production sizes up to 72” x 120” are produced as acrylic face mounted pigment prints on dibond backing braced with recessed cleat mount.
