Each scene is a constructed multimedia digital collage of a collection of generated spoof Renaissance paintings, fake Greek and Roman sculptures, and fictional seventeenth-century engravings of medical, industrial, scientific, and technological subjects, and contrived steampunk. AI’s struggle to generate convincing versions of these elements inspired a series of delightfully unhinged combinations, giving the work its charm.
